One of the most renowned cars ever made, the Jaguar E-Type, is now officially blessed with an heir. The 2013 Jaguar F-Type will tread the path paved by the E-Type, and will do it with fuss and style. Jaguar has recently released the first high resolution photos of the F-Type, while its public appearance will take place during the Paris Motor Show, the next week.

If you study them carefully, you will probably notice some lines from the C-X16 concept, presented during the last year. Under the bonnet, Jaguar has hidden a gorgeous 3.0-liter V6 supercharged engine which delivers 335 HP (250 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque.

They will reportedly release an even more powerful version, developing 375 HP (279 kW) and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque. And, if this may happen to be insufficient, the new F-Type will also be available with a 5.0-liter V8 engine, with an output between 503 HP (375 kW) and 542 HP (405 kW), not certain yet.

Those who expect more info on the model should stay tuned to the oncoming Paris Motor Show.
