The fantastic Royal Princess is the latest addition to the Princess Cruise fleet, officially, as was announced a couple of weeks ago. Dubbed as such by Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge, it’s the newest counterpart of the extraordinary ships Crown Princess and Ruby Princess.

This special event was held in Southampton, in Great Britain, with fastidious UK charm, elegance and exquisite glamour, in the presence of world-famous figures. In excess of 2,000 guests had taken part at the event, in order to witness Kate Middleton bless the ship according to British tradition, with the bottle of champagne being smashed against Royal Princess’ crisp white hull.

Able to accommodate a mind-boggling total of 3,600 passengers, the Royal Princess boasts with exquisite interiors, worthy of all praise. Princess Cruise has appointed it as the ship of a “new generation”, sporting extravagant features like a dramatic multi-story atrium as the social hub onboard, with all sorts of entertainment and dining options, top-deck glass-bottomed walkway extending 28 feet beyond the edge of the cruiser, an over-water SeaWalk, the brand new Princess Live! TV studio, largest pastry shop at sea in the world, special Chef’s Table Lumiere, private dining experience that surrounds diners with light, balconies outside every stateroom, plush private poolside cabanas that seem to be floating upon the water and a damn load more.

The maiden voyage of the Royal Princess has taken place towards Barcelona, on the 16th of June, after which it started the Grand Mediterranean cruises which will be taking place during the entire summer, followed by Eastern Caribbean cruises, in autumn. Enjoy the extraordinary gallery we’ve put together for you!
