The latest project from Lazar Design/Build is a luxury home on the 35th Street in Manhattan Beach, California, which was actually created for the architect’s family. The home has a contemporary design and the entire three-story structure is comprised of stained and polished Mangaris wood which gives the impression of a home from an island resort.
The architect took inspiration for this wonderful home from the islands making it just as comfortable as a Maui home but located in Manhattan Beach. The entrance of the home is made through a series of Mangaris wood steps, alongside a river of water flowing over riverbed stones.
Inside, this modern house features contemporary furniture, spaciously placed to create a fresh, breathing environment. The living room offers a panoramic view of the shoreline through sliding glass doors and accents of blue and green appear throughout the home, evoking the seaside surroundings.
