Opulence and luxury are two perfect words to describe the Cap Rocat. Pablo Carrington once declared about this superb spot in Mallorca: “Having lived in Mallorca, I am very aware of its strong cultural traditions. But tradition is not about nostalgia, it’s about identity.”

The location boasts with a strong level of culture. The place where this 24-room luxury Spanish hotel has been raised lies on a historical ground, having been constructed over a 19th century military fortress. Sharing breathtaking views of the Bay of Palma de Mallorca, the hotel thoroughly blends into the surroundings, at the same time maintaining the integrity of the local architecture and natural environment.

The interiors were designed under the command of Antonio Obrador – AODENARIO. The fabled architect is best known for his collaboration with European movers and shakers, as well as bankers, among them Claudia Schiffer, part of La Residencia in Deia and the Gran Hotel Son Net in Mallorca.

Occupying the most private spot in the fortress, the “El Cabo” Suite sports a lavish living room, decked with unique, state of the art, original pieces of art, a chic private pool and huge gardens with private terraces.

In terms of activities, this place surely does not know boredom. The Sea Club awaits tourists, built within a secluded cove, surrounded by a large sandy area with sunbeds and boasting its own private restaurant. The local natural reserve also includes superb swimming areas, set around the former pier and dock.

The hotel’s infinity pool – the Fortress Swimming Pool – has been constructed on the walls of the old fortress. Additionally, bicycles, courtesy of the hotel, are put at your disposal in case you want to explore the areas a bit more. Overlooking the Bay of Palma, three exquisite restaurants are ready to pamper guests with incredible incursions into the world of taste and luxury.

The Old Fortress Kitchen offers local traditional Mallorcan kitchen in its refurbished precinct, perfect for private dining and wine and cooking classes. The Sea Club takes benefit of breathtaking views and surroundings, and its location, within the amazing “Cala de le Reina”, to create an open-air exquisite dining spot and to pamper guests with dishes freshly cooked in a traditional Mallorcan firewood oven and grill. The Fortress Restaurant on the other hand provides a more rustic dining atmosphere, under enormous tents, overlooking the bay.

A mere 20-minutes’ drive away from the Palma Airport, the hotel is situated within an environmentally protected region, with rich fauna and vegetation. The prices, including breakfast, start at €450 per night, depending on the desired services, availability and season.
