Hublot have so far been known as both manufacturers of radically exquisite timekeeping solutions and supporters for the sporting world. As the brand has been recently appointed the first official timekeeper of the NBA franchise, they’ve announced their new brand ambassador – Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant.

In order to honor and celebrate this event, they’ve released a brand new signature timepiece for Kobe, the limited edition King Power Black Mamba, a limited edition which is reportedly going to be manufactured in just 250 units. This Hublot piece sports a HUB 4248 mechanical self-winding movement, sapphire dial, python snake strap sewed onto black rubber and micro-blasted titanium bezel with 6 black PVD H-shaped relief titanium screws.

Another interesting factor about this release is that it continues the Hublot tradition of supporting social responsibility. The brand is now official supporter of the Kobe and Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation, a charity foundation committed to improving the lives of youth and families in need through financial resources.

As the name Hublot is synonymous with expertise, tradition, exquisiteness, elegance and exclusivity, so are the other names that Kobe Bryant has recently joined – football legend Diego Maradona, the fastest man on the face of the Earth, Usain Bolt, Miami Heat’s Dwayne Wade and more.
