Hublot Big Bang Sapphire Unico

Hublot is loving sapphire, and so do we. Shortly after introducing the extraordinary MP-05 LaFerrari Sapphire, a watch that focused on the intricate architecture and complex movement of the popular LaFerrari, the Swiss brand is unveiling the new Big Bang Unico Sapphire.

Hublot has decided to suspend the Unico movement in a dreamy, transparent sapphire case, allowing us to take a glimpse of their incredible mechanism, at all times. It wasn’t easy for the company to create a case middle, bezel and back completely from sapphire, which a material pretty hard to work with, but Hublot called on the expertise of a Swiss specialist.

With only a few pieces on the spine of the watch made out of titanium, including the screws, the crown, and the deployant buckle, this watch looks like a stunning fashion accessory. The transparent strap keeps in line with the overall theme of the watch allowing the wearer’s skin to benefit from light.

The Hublot Big Bang Unico Sapphire fully reveals its construction and its movement, not to mention Hublot’s eye for beauty and their attention to detail. The exquisite sapphire timepiece is part of a limited edition of 500 units, so you’d better hurry if you want one.
