Royal Salute

Royal Salute, often described as the world’s most exquisite luxury Scotch whisky brand, has just unveiled an innovative blending technique, which allows whiskies to literally live forever. Dubbed as the Circular Blending process, their way of making whisky will allow the original blend to be used in every subsequent batch for decades to come.

The Royal Salute Vault in Strathisla Distillery wants to create a smooth and voluptuous whisky. After selecting its most precious whiskies, with an exceptionally long finish, the Scottish label then blends them together to form 88 casks of the inaugural batch. Since each time a new batch is released half of the blend is re-casked, even 300 hundred years from now whisky aficionados will be able to enjoy the precious liquid born in 2015.

Named the Royal Salute Eternal Reserve, this amazing whisky will be just another step in the company’s right history and tradition in creating unique blends. It will feature a new porcelain flacon design, and it will be priced at $180 per 70 cl, which doesn’t seem all that steep, considering what your taste-buds will be experiencing once you open that bottle.

The Eternal Reserve has been inspired by artists, writers, and philosophers – the kind of people that understand time, its limitations and the fact that eternity doesn’t mean living forever. It’s all about timelessness!
