The Emeraude Set to Once Again Offer Cruises along Vietnam’s Halong Bay

After years of extensive renovations, the 37-cabin cruise ship Emeraude is almost ready to once again take passengers through the magnificent landscapes of Halong Bay, in northern Vietnam.

As part of the process, the vessel had the baths in every cabin and suite removed and replaced with rain shower heads, new sinks, and repositioned toilets, as the “old school” maritime atmosphere gave way to a more modern feel. Other expected modifications include the addition of new beds, new wall coverings, and new linens, while the ship’s dock has been moved to a new pier in the town of Hon Gai.

These renovations are set to complete by April, and then Emeraude will once again start taking passengers on an unforgettable journey through the karst formations, visiting sights like Sung Sot Grotto (also known as Surprise Cave) or the floating villages along the way.
