Eagle Spyder GT

Everyone remembers E-Type builder Eagle, right? Sure you do, especially since their Speedster and Low Drag GT cars – both based on the marvelous Jaguar E-Type – broke the mold the second they came out. The British automker is back in our minds with the third and last recreation model, the Eagle Spyder GT, thus completing the glorious trilogy.

The charming Spyder GT offers a folding fabric roof, making sure the driver’s love for this precious vehicle won’t diminish in any way, once the sun hides behind the clouds. According to Eagle, the new model features the same thrills and performance as the Low Drag GT and the stylish and exquisite looks of the Speedster.

Considering that the company has been specializing in restoring E-Typesback to perfection for three decades, we tend to trust their statements.

The Eagle Spyder GT comes with an all-aluminum body, complemented by a straight-six 4.7-liter engine that’s good for around 345 hp and 360 lb.ft of torque. As a result, the power-to-weight ratio is incredible, and so will be every second behind the steering-wheel.

It’s pretty obvious by now that each car is completely tailored to the customer’s needs and desired, especially if you consider the £700k ($1 million) price-tag. The team of perfectionists at Eagle has been working on this project since 2011, and we’re now able to tell you that the first Eagle Spyder GT will be delivered this summer, and five others are on the way – and no more than that.

This rare jewel will definitely be an incredible addition to any car collection.
