I’ve always liked the unique shape of Donkervoort’s D8 GTO, an ultra light sports car with extreme performances, entirely built by hand in the Netherlands. An amazing little supercar like this one could only get even better and that’s why the small Dutch automaker has revealed a new version of this beauty, called the Bare Naked Carbon Edition.

This is the company’s first car which features visible carbon fiber, basically everywhere you can look. Almost all interior and exterior details are made out of this wonderful material, including the car’s seats, dashboard, window frame, door sills and panels and even the housings for the ignition cylinder and headlights.

It’s carbon fiber everywhere and we love it! Especially because it accentuates the super fast character of the D8 GTO and it also reveals a bit of the car’s dark side. Since the car features a lot of carbon fiber elements, you can probably guess it’s a little lighter than the standard Donkervoort D8 GTO, which means insane performances!

The Donkervoort D8 GTO Bare Naked Carbon Edition is powered by a 2.5L TFSI engine sourced from Audi, which has been tweaked and tuned to produce 400 PS and 450 Nm of torque, more than enough for a hair rising 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of just 3.0 seconds and to get to a top speed of 255 km/h or 158 mph.

That’s Bugatti Veyron territory, in a sexy little body which will surely lure you to the dark side.
