The new BMW M2 is probably the most sought after sports car in the world right now, that’s exactly why the Bavarian automaker has decided to surprise us with something else this week – a marvelous M2-inspired bicycle, that would be part of the brand’s Spring 2016 bicycle collection.

Called the Cruise M bike, this sleek bycicle is offering almost the same exclusivity like the high-performance M2, for a smaller price, of course. The bike is part of a limited-edition series of only 1,500 units, with each one costing just €1,400.

If you’re one of those people who don’t know that BMW has also developed state-of-the-art, high-class bicycles for over 60 years, don’t worry, you’re probably not alone, but this bike should be a proper example of their skill and ideas.

It features a hydro-formed aluminium frame which shows off a distinctive “bullneck”, although there’s no tank to feed the engine. There should be no surprise that the BMW Cruise M Bike Limited Edition shows off a Long Beach Blue metallic color scheme, just the like the ‘official’ BMW M2.

The design concept is complemented by high-quality technical components, such as the carbon seat post and spacer ensure, which allow the bike to be light and extremely robust in the same time. Riding on 28-inch wheels, and with a 30-gear system and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes part of the package, this bicycle will surely deliver the most incredible experience you could ever have – while pedaling.
