The Breathtaking Aston Martin DB11 Comes with an Aeroblade

Aston Martin DB11

The new Aston Martin DB11 is probably the finest example of the British automaker’s pursuit for absolute beauty and style. With the exception of some track-focused supercars, like the ravishing Vulcan or the Vantage GT8, we all know that Aston Martin has always avoided overwhelming the design of their cars with aggressive aerodynamic elements.

The brand-new DB11 seems to keep in line with this philosophy, but it still benefits from various subtle aero-aids that refrain from disturbing what could easily be considered a living flow of sensual lines and curves which comprise the Aston’s amazing bodywork.

The DB11 will come with a so-called ‘Aeroblade‘, that resulted after the designers from Aston Martin penned down a small air intake directly behind the rear side windows. These neat aeroblades were meant to send air under the trunklid and up through the decklid to allow the driver to enjoy traction while having a little bit of fun.

As such, there was no need for a small lip spoiler, that’s why the new Aston Martin DB11 has such a clean and sensual design. The DB11 also makes use of a small rear spoiler, which comes out to play once the vehicle travels at speeds between 50 mph (80 km/h) and 80 mph (128 km/h). If you got the time, Aston’s got the ride.
