Introduced back in 1953, the iconic Chevrolet Corvette has been one of the most popular cars out there, and even today, almost 65 years later, it still rocks our world. To celebrate the 65th anniversary of this sought-after sports car, Chevrolet has unveiled the 2018 Chevrolet Corvette Carbon 65 edition, offered for the 2018 Grand Sport 3LT and ZO6 3LZ models.

As luck would have it, the car manufacturer will only deliver 650 units globally, each of these cars featuring an eye catching carbon-fiber exterior package. Sporting a redesigned rear spoiler and quarter ducts, a new Ceramic Matrix Gray exterior paint finish and special interior details, including a carbon-fiber rimmed steering wheel, this Corvette aims to remain in your memory forever.

Furthermore, Chevrolet has also announced minor equipment changes to the MY2018 Corvette, such as a standard HD radio on all models, an optional Performance Data Recorder, an improved rear-view camera with higher resolution, a Spice Red convertible top option and many other interesting little details – nothing but good news.

It seems that the base Stingray model will be packing 19″ and 20″ wheels, with five new wheel designs available and the Magnetic Ride Control offered as a stand-alone option. Customers interested in the 2018 Grand Sport will be also able to brag about new features, but it’s the Carbon 65 Edition package we’re interested right now.

Unique features like fender stripes and cool door graphics, blue brake calipers, a jet-black suede interior with blue stitching, Competition Sport seats and more are to be enjoyed by the very few lucky owners. This special Corvette honors the legacy of all those models which preceded it, which might explain the $15,000 extra that you’ll have to pay for it, but it’s totally worth it if you ask us.
