It’s no secret – Audi was planning to introduce its laser light technology in the United States pretty soon, and it has now become a reality, thanks to this special R8. The 2017 R8 V10 Plus Exclusive Edition brags about a laser high beam module, working alongside the full LED headlights of the supercar, with each headlamp benefiting from four high-intensity laser diodes.

This laser lighting system also makes use of a phosphor converter, which was specifically designed to transform the beam into a bright and pure white light at speeds of over 40 mph (64 km/h).

Aside from the unique and advanced lighting system, this special edition of the new Audi R8 also features an exclusive Quantum Gray exterior paint job, carbon fiber side blades with a Solar Orange stripe, and an eye catching set of 20″ alloys.

Limited to just 25 units, the R8 V10 Plus Edition also features a new carbon fiber diffuser, front lip spoiler, side mirror casings and a fixed rear wing, making this supercar even more appealing than it normally is.

On the inside, lucky owners of this beauty will enjoy the Full Leather package in a Black/Signal orange theme signed by Audi Exclusive; this means a special steering wheel, illuminated door sills with the ‘One of 25’ lettering, Alcantara headliner, and different floor mats.  Expect to pay $229,200 for this menacing vehicle.
