The renowned German tuners from TechArt always manage to make us daydream, without actually closing our eyes, with their incredible projects. Their new Porsche 911 Turbo GTstreet R is just another example of what this German aftermarket specialist can come up with – a jaw dropping, top of the range model, based on the Porsche 911 Turbo and the 911 Turbo S.

Looking like a menacing green beast, this supercar features a custom bodywork, which seems to complement the sporty lines of the Porsche 911 Turbo, with a new active aero agenda providing 321 kg (707 lbs) of downforce at speeds of 300 km/h (186 mph).

The team at TechArt imagined a new carbon fiber front apron, with an active front spoiler, designed to optimize the airflow towards the water- and oil- coolers. At the same time, the central air outlet aids to reduce the aerodynamic lift, while the laterally positioned flaps on the front bumper increase downforce and reduce drag. Also worth mentioning is the active carbon wing at the back, working its magic when Performance mode is engaged.

TechArt’s GTstreet R also comes with a wide range of power upgrades, such as the 600-hp power-kit, or the 640-hp package, which takes this sportscar from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.7 seconds and 0 to 124 mph (0-200 km/h) in 9.2 seconds, while the pickiest of customers may go for an insane 720-hp offering starting early 2017.

You may also want to know that 20″ or 21″ alloys can also be purchased for your 911, along with a VarioPlus coilover suspension, with PDDC connectivity, and a Noselift front axle lift system. There’s also a new sports exhaust, complemented by a continuously variable pneumatic valve control, which delivers an incredible soundtrack to match the aforementioned technical upgrades.

On the inside, feel free to choose one of two different variants, called Exclusive or Clubsport. The first choice includes fine leather upholstery, while the Clubsport comes with Alcantara highlights, a color-matched roll bar, six-point harnesses and door-opening straps. The dashboard, center console, roof liner, sun visors and door pillars feature leather or Alcantara regardless of your choice. Decisions, decisions.
