It’s been exactly one year since Cristiano Ronaldo became one of TAG Heuer’s celebrity ambassadors, joining the likes of Maria Sharapova and Jenson Button. And this year at the Baselworld expo, the renowned Swiss watchmaker unveiled a very special, limited edition chronograph, as a tribute to the three time Ballon d’Or winner.
Just this weekend Cristiano Ronaldo proved to everyone he’s still one of the best football players in the world, if not the best, scoring five goals in a single game against Malaga. That’s why he totally deserves his own timepiece and TAG Heuer is just the right brand to create something which fits his personality.
The CR7 TAG Heuer watch is based on the elegant Formula 1 Chronograph and features a vibrant black and green theme (inspired from the football pitch) and a stunning matt black finish which gives it even more style. The watch features a unique checkered-pattern on its dial, which is complemented by the TAG Heuer and CR7 logos.
The steel case, measuring 42 mm, is finished in titanium carbide – the same material used on the bezel of this special watch. The black and green theme is continued by the NATO strap, which makes the watch stand out even more. Behind the watch you will find a football and “CR7” engraved on the caseback.
