The Breitling Galactic 44 is the latest addition to the Swiss watchmaker’s Galactic collection which is not only a great looking timepiece, but also a very precise timekeeping instrument as well.
This elegant and robust piece features a 44 mm dial with brushed metal and dark colors, while the bezel comes is sating brushed steel, with inlaid hour markers sitting over a polished steel casing. On the face there are two apertures for the day and the date, a compass scale, 100 hour divisions, and laminated hand and hour markers, while the watch’s self-winding movement is chronometer-certified by the COSC.
To make this stylish timepiece even more appealing, Breitling has designed a range of dials and straps for those who want to customize. The dials are available in either trophy black, metallica blue or sierra silver, while the straps come in leather, crocodile leather, rubber Diver Pro or Military/Pilot.
