TAG Heuer has designed a stunning timepiece for the 2015 edition of the Le Mans race, joining forces with the Nissan Nismo team that will race an incredible 1,000 hp racecar at Le Mans this year, the revolutionary Nissan GT-R LM NISMO.
Called the Carrera Nismo Calibre 16, the special edition TAG Heuer watch comes in a gorgeous titanium case, featuring micro-blasted titanium carbide and measuring 43 mm. Inspired from the world of racing and the stunning Nissan Nismo, this timepiece would be perfect on and off the track, especially for fans of the renowned endurance race from Le Mans.
The case of the watch also features a ceramic bezel with tachometer, an AR-coated sapphire crystal, and it is water resistant up to 100 meters. On the other side, the caseback features a Nissan NISMO decal, while the movement comes courtesy of the Swiss automatic TAG Heuer Caliber 16 (base ETA or Sellita) with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours.
