Rox Star

Few sailing yachts will leave one speechless, and the recently introduced 39.90 meter sailing yacht Rox Star will do exactly that. Showing off an intriguing mix of traditional Turkish-built quality and contemporary superyacht design, the Rox Star yacht has been imagined with the most exciting sailing experience in mind.

Designed in-house by the Bodrum-based Oguz Marin, Rox Star features a sleek pearlescent black hull, with matching sails and a classic deck house. Somewhat resembling the Black Pearl, this vessel comes with vast exterior deck space, divided into separate areas dedicated to socializing, sunbathing and much more.

For instance, the main cockpit and aft sun bathing area are separated by the helm stations and running controls. The cockpit is covered by a large fixed bimini, for some extra shade, while a large U-shaped seating area provides the perfect setting for up to 10 guests to relax in a wind-free environment.

The area forward of the deck house is exclusively meant for guests to unwind and soak up the sun, in complete seclusion from the rest of the passengers. The stylish sun bathing area here is probably the ideal setting if you’re planning to enjoy a couple of drinks while looking at the romantic sunset. If that all fails, you should know that the main saloon also includes a bar area, with a large and comfortable corner sofa. Did I mention the amazing skylights above?

The full beam master suite is absolutely amazing, featuring warm brown leathers and exquisite wooden furniture and paneling. It also comes with its own skylight, while the lovely en suite bathroom was finished with unique Italian grey marble, resembling the patterns found in the wood used throughout the cabin.

The yacht has four guest cabins as well, each of them themed to represent a famous rock star, with oversized images also part of the original design. Each guest cabin obviously features a large, double bed and en suite bathroom.

Rox Star is operated by a 6 man crew, as the twin MAN engine setup is good for around 1,120 hp and a cruising speed of 12 knots. Offering high levels of comfort in a safe and performance-ready package, this sailing yacht is complemented by modern touches and equipment that would make old-school sailors envious.
