Riva‘s New Flagship Yacht – The 122’ Mythos

All the way back in November 2012, we’ve show you the first glimpses of Mythos, the largest yacht ever to be built by Riva. Now, the Italian shipyard is ready to really showcase its new flagship luxury yacht.

The 35-ton, 122-foot (37 meter) vessel has a 7.6-meter beam and comes in standard version with three of four cabins, with an optional layout of five cabins also available. Responsible for its design is the same company Riva collaborates with for all its boats, Officina Italiana Design.

According to head designer Maurio Micheli, the overall concept and lines of the vessel were settled in about 10 minutes, but what makes the model truly unique is the amount of attention to detail that went into its creation since then. It wouldn’t be a true Riva yacht if it wasn’t amazingly luxurious, something achieved through the use of clean lines and tried and tested, yet high-end materials such as steel, wood, and leather.

With its new flagship yacht, Riva is definitely reaffirming its status as one of the world’s top shipyards – and we can only expect greater things to come.
