Remy Martin will launch a Diamant Fine Champagne Cognac in October at DFS stores to celebrate the leading travel retailer’s 50th anniversary. The Remy Martin Diamant, which is actually the French for diamond is a top-end Cognac that will be produced exclusively for travel retailers.

The DFS launch will be followed in December by the Cognac’s introduction at other key airports and travel retail outlets and will be priced at $1,000. The creator of this fine cognac is Cellar Master Pierrette Tricket, the first-ever woman to hold the position of Cellar Master in Cognac, and only the fourth Cellar Master at the venerable Cognac house in the past 100 years.

The Remy Martin Diamant will be marketed with the “Heart of Cognac” tagline which was explained by the creator who selected only the rares eaux-de-vie from the heart of Cognac, from among the top 10% that are the most prized and polished them like a precious stone.

The Diamant Cognac contains very rare grapes and boasts traditional distillation methods, long maturation in oak casks and the Cellar Master’s expertise.
