The renowned Italian brand Puritalia has recently unveiled the Puritalia 427 roadster, their latest brainchild – one and a half tons of pure majesty. The car was inspired by the 1965 Shelby Cobra and was equipped with a composite and carbon fiber body on top of a chromoly and aluminum chassis. The body kit glares through two roll bars, a front fascia and a set of 19 inch or 20 inch alloy wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero gums.

Besides stunning looks, the car boasts with quite strong muscles – it runs on a 5.0-liter V8 engine that delivers 439 HP (327 kW) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque. Its output can be further raised to a whopping 597 HP (445 kW) and 640 Nm (472 lb-ft) through a supercharger. Either way, the engine’s linked to a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited slip differential.

There’s no mass-production involved when talking about Puritalia. Every Puritalia 427 is handmade, so that customers benefit of the best in show – “a truly unique piece of art that is a clear expression”. The founder of Puritalia, Paolo Parente, declared: “We decided to design and engineer the 427 simply because a similar car doesn’t exist.

The result, a powerful car using best in class technologies and materials to enhance and elevate the drivers’ experience. An exclusive item to own and designed for those (like us) who still love the pleasure of driving their own car and not be driven by it.” A truly stunning piece this is, although we can’t back this description up with any information on its availability and price.
