This isn’t a typo; we all know Porsche Design loves to take on new challenges, and after refining smartphones, watches or shoes and after unveiling many other innovative products, the brand’s newest project is a wonderful laptop called Book One.
Looking like an upgrade Microsoft’s Surface and benefiting from the best Quanta hardware, this stylish laptop is actually the perfect way of launching the brand’s computing division. Engineered and built in Germany, the Porsche Design Book One shows off an anodized aluminum body, with automotive cues complementing the detachable tablet body.
The coolness factor is probably off the charts with this laptop, but aside from that, Book One makes an impression thanks to the USB-C ports, 7th-gen Intel Core i7 CPU and many more tech features. It offers a 13.3-inch 3200 x 1800 touchscreen, with support for 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity, and 16GB of RAM, 512 GB of SSD storage and a glass precision touchpad are also part of the offering. Porsche Design will release this beauty in stores starting this April, with Book One ready to sell for a cool $2,495. It might sound like a lot for a laptop, but we’re sure it’s going to be worth every single penny!
