Halloween is already here, so it’s the perfect time to consider adding something a little creepier to your household. Better yet, make it something that is not only decorative, but also useful – something like these creepy skeleton lamps!

Husband-and-wife design team Marcia Zia (an Emmy-nominated set decorator) and Paul Priven set up Zia-Priven back in 1999 and have been creating remarkable lighting fixtures ever since. And their latest work is as remarkable as they get! Dubbed Philippe, this lamp comes in the form of a human skeleton, with a lampshade placed instead of its head. Each skeleton is designed in such a way that it seems to strike a pose and while the light does indeed illuminate the room it is placed it, nothing gets more light than the skeleton itself. You wouldn’t want to wander in a room you’ve been before and have Philippe be the first thing you see when you turn on the light!

These unique lamps by Zia-Priven come with silver, bronze, or white frames, and either black or white shades.
