Among a large number of time-measuring related breakthroughs, including the automatic watch, which had their beginning by the end of the 18th century, the Swiss watchmaker Perrelet has also created the Qatar watch limited edition and the Turbine XL. This, of course, doesn’t end here. They have just finished a very special timepiece, the Perrelet Turbine 007, honoring an old-time and classic modern hero, James Bond and also the widely known Poker game.

The multi-layered dial of the watch is 44 mm wide, offering an aesthetically pleasant contrast between the golden inlays and the black grained steel arms. This is purely the Perrelet traditional way to amaze through luxury. The dials can be spun one over the other, creating a very fine color show, and, combined with the hours, minute and seconds hands, amaze our eyes in a very pleasurable way.

As a final touch, besides the coal-colored belt, the hour and minute hands are tipped with a light golden layer, while the seconds hand is a stand-alone gold miniature sculpture. The numbers are printed on the separate outer rings, the inner one with the numeral minutes, written in golden paint and the outer one in white enamel, with Arabic numerals, representing the hours of the day. The sapphire crystal covering, coated with DLC, protects all this impressive “show” from scratches and other damage.

This masterpiece resists up to 50 meters of water depth. Given the P-181 caliber movement mechanism, a company patent, this timepiece adds to its exclusivity, thing also assured by the small number of wearers it will have. The production number will not rise above 888 pieces.
