Parrot is a French company that manufactures a wide range of cool hi-tech gizmos, but one of the more interesting is the Bebop drone.

It comes with everything you could ever need from such a machine: hi-definition 1080p video recording, 14-megapixel “fisheye” camera, 8GB of flash storage, 3-axes accelerometer, and even a built-in hotspot. You can fly it with the aid of a flight simulator-style Skycontroller and it’s even compatible with first person goggles for a truly awesome experience.

Bebop also has an onboard flight computer which allows you to program routes for it, while the GPS and Return Home function brings the drone back to where it came from.

Other features include an emergency mode for immediate landing and EPP hulls which can be used as bumpers if you want to fly it indoors.

No word as of yet regarding pricing details or a launch date, but Parrot does intend to release the Bebop in the near future.
