Inspired from the beautiful design of the Cannes Palme d’Or, which was been produced in Chopard’s workshops since 1998, the renowned French jewelry maker has recently unveiled a new bespoke line of jewelry, called the Palme Verte Collection.

Mixing beauty with fine craftsmanship, Palme Verte is actually Chopard’s first jewelry collection manufactured from Fairmined golf, which is produced following select social, environmental and ethical standards. The gold used for these jewelry pieces, for example, has been extracted by small scale miners certified under the Fairmined standard by the Alliance for Responsible Mining, from the Coodmilla cooperative in the Nariño region of Colombia.

The gorgeous collection includes an amazing pair of earrings, a pendant, an exquisite ring and a drool inducing bracelet, all of them featuring daring designs that would be perfect on the red carpet of Cannes or anywhere else you want to make an impression through the little details.

Last year at BaselWorld Chopard has also unveiled the world’s first watch created from Fairmined gold, the L.U.C. Tourbillon QF Fairmined, and with the Palme Verte Collection they’re taking this idea of fair mining-meets-luxury even further.
