French luxury brand Lancôme launched La Vie Est Belle back in 2012, followed a year later by a lighter, more exclusive version of the fragrance, and finally another perfume called La Vie Est Belle L’Eau de Toilette earlier this year. A new addition to the collection which will be a more intense version of the famed fragrance is expected to be launched in August 2014. The new scent will be developed by perfumers Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo, who apparently have chosen to emphasize de sweet notes of the original, while also preserving its signature features.

The composition opens with hints of black currant and pear, while the heart is a perfect blend of iris, orange blossom, jasmine absolute, and Damascus rose. The base is a composition of tonka bean, praline, and cashmere.

Julia Roberts will once again be the image for La Vie Est Belle, a role she’s retained from the series` launch. Lancome La Vie Est Belle L’Absolu will be available in two versions: a 20ml bottle priced at €64.7 (about $88), and a 40ml bottle priced at €89.62 (around $122).
