Bentley Mulsanne Grand Limousine

The new Bentley Mulsanne Grand Limousine is the latest brainchild of the company’s bespoke Mulliner division, unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.  Longer, taller and even more exquisite than the standard model, this Mulsanne features an extra meter of length and is 79 mm taller, with the rear cabin benefiting from four opposing seats.

This extraordinary Mulsanne limo resulted after a private commission and it’s Bentley’s first car to feature electrochromic glass. This means rear passengers may actually switch the interior division and rear-cabin window glass between clear and opaque, at the simple push of a button.

The attention to detail, quality and creativity are obvious once you get in the back of this stretched Bentley. One of the highlights of the rear cabin is the handcrafted wooden roof panel, which houses three dials displaying UK and local time as well as exterior temperature.

A new climate system had to be developed specially for this Mulsanne Limousine, with other features including iPad charging and docking stations, veneered fold-out tables, a bottle cooler with frosted glass and crystal flutes, and a soft drink cabinet with bespoke tumblers.

Bentley also had to redesign the chassis, suspension, powertrain and transmission to match the Grand Limousine’s needs and the two-tone Silver Frost and Moroccan Blue acts as the finishing touch on the Mulsanne Grand Limousine, with a set of unique 21-inch alloys being the cherry on top of the sundae.
