Having finished exquisitely precious pieces like the most expensive bag in the world, which was sold for $3.8 million, or the Snow White Princess Diamond Watch, unveiled two years ago and, respectively last year, in February, Mouawad has made a one of the strongest entries into the world of fashion beginning with 1891. This year is reserved for the stunningly unique Mouawad L’Incomparable Diamond Necklace, which boasts a whopping 91 diamonds, including the world’s largest internally flawless diamond.

The veil was lifted off the necklace for the first time on the occasion of the 2013 Doha Jewelry and Watch Exhibition, in Qatar. The combined diamond weight of this mind-boggling thing is, no exaggerations involved, 637 carats! This makes it clear – it’s absolutely superb!

And the fact that amazes us the most is that it encompasses the largest internally flawless diamond in the world, which GIA has graded as weighing 407.48 carats. It was found by a little girl, in the Republic of Congo, and had went through a number of hands until being finally displayed at several museums. One of those museums was in fact the Smithsonian, in Washington DC.

There’s not much fuss about the necklace, though, as it boasts a minimalistic design. This comes with a purpose, though, as a minimalistic style would be the perfect choice to highlight the presence of the exquisite diamond. Apart from the stone, the Mouawad L’Incomparable Diamond Necklace is crafted from a mixture of glimmering diamond of various cuts, including brilliant, pear and emerald cuts, upon a rose gold base.

The launch of the exquisite necklace is said to have been the marking of the 10th anniversary of Doha Jewelry and Watches Exhibition. Nevertheless, only a special, glamorous woman would ever be able to wear a special piece like this one.
