Montegrappa Chaos Automatic Analogue Wristwatch

Chaos is the name of the theme Montegrappa and Sylvester Stallone have been working on since the famous Rambo actor was appointed the brand ambassador of Montegrappa. There were the Chaos Pen and the Chaos Cufflinks, and we’re now delighted to showcase the 2013 Limited Edition Chaos Automatic Analogue Wristwatch.

This fantastically exquisite timepiece looks like something that was finished hundreds of years ago. It is quite a gorgeous piece if you ask us, putting together the sturdiness of Rambo alongside the elegance and style of Montegrappa. The case is rather different than everything we’ve seen so far, measuring 54 mm x 43 mm.

That gorgeous but very striking appearance gives the impression of it having been finished in oxidized gold. What’s even more striking is that the mechanism itself doesn’t take up as much space as the design features – it boasts skulls and serpents, personally conceived by Sylvester Stallone himself. Putting the design even closer to the  grim-theme is the crown, which has been engraved with an additional skull.

These very interesting black PVD-coated cases have reportedly been manufactured by hand in Northern Italy, in exactly the place where the timepieces were finally assembled. In addition, these wristwatches come with date apertures at the 3 o’clock positions and luminous hands, all encased in exquisitely executed sapphire crystal. Inside them, we’ll notice the ETA 2824 movements, water resistant up to 10 ATM. The timepieces are mated to the wrist via leather straps with yet some more skulls on the buckles.
