Based in Görlitz, Saxony, Meyer-Optik-Görlitz has been producing innovative, high-quality lenses ever since its early years, and continues to impress to this day. As such, the German company has just announced a limited edition run of their bespoke Trioplan 100 mm f/2.8 lenses, finished in Titanium or Gold (for the Golden Eye version).

These incredible lenses will set you back $2,500 for the Titanium version, while the Golden Eye will cost you even more, a cool $3,500 to be exact. Why would anyone want this kind of opulence from a pair of camera lenses, you ask?

Well, these bespoke versions have been designed as a tribute to 100 years of Trioplan lenses and to celebrate he company’s incredible experience in the world of photography.
