Linde Werdelin, a Swiss watch manufacturer founded in 2002 by Danish designers Morten Linde and Jorn Werdelin, has released the SpidoSpeed Chronograph Collection. First showcased during Baselworld, the two limited edition timepieces mark an evolution in skeletonization for the independent watchmaker and are available for purchase through the LW E-Boutique, as well as at selected LW retailers around the world.

Firstly, there’s the SpidoSpeed Rose Gold Black model, with its 18-carat rose gold case measuring 44mm x 46mm x 15mm. Its crown and bezel are made from titanium with black DLC coating, while the crown has the LW Spider icon engraved in rose gold. Powered by a Swiss automatic Linde Werdelin caliber LW06 (base Concepto) with 27 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 48 hours, it has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 100 meters. The SpidoSpeed Rose Gold Black comes on a textured calfskin strap with a DLC-coated titanium buckle and is priced at 32,000 Swiss Francs (about $35,000).

Secondly, there’s the SpidoSpeed Green timepiece, with a forged carbon case of the same dimensions as the previous model. The bezel and crown are once again fashioned from titanium with black DLC coating, while the crown has the LW Spider icon engraved in green. The AR-coated sapphire crystal, movement, and textured calfskin strap are also similar to the Rose Gold Black model. The SpidoSpeed Green doesn’t however have the same price as the other watch in the collection and only costs 21,000 Swiss francs (which is about $32,300).

Both watches in the SpidoSpeed Chronograph Collection were released as limited editions numbering just 99 pieces each.
