In order to add a touch of luxury to an already high-end product, LG has teamed up with Swarovski, releasing a limited edition Curved OLED TV featuring actual Swarovski crystals.
The curved LG TV screen, just 4mm thick and weighing in at 35 lbs (16kg), is by itself quite a decorative piece and would enhance any living or entertainment room it would be place in. Now, with the added glitz brought by the 460 luminescent Aurora Borealis crystals, which were applied by hand using specially made stencils, the screen is not only a hi-tech device, but also a piece of jewelry in its own right.
Crystal-clear picture quality and Swarovski crystals – sounds like the makings of a really great product, one that is definitely going to catch the eye of discerning buyers looking to add a bit of sparkle to their movie nights.
Unveiled during this week’s IFA consumer electronics trade show held in Berlin, the LG Curved OLED TV with Swarovski Crystals will be released in Europe later this year.
