Almost two years have passed since ColorWare had presented the custom design options for the gorgeous Leica D-LUX 5 camera. Guess what’s next? The Leica D-LUX 6 is here and it has just passed through similar steps.

Eventual clients are able to customize the cameras as they want them thanks to ColorWare’s new website. The camera is divisible in then different parts, each of them being finished in specified colors. There are the lens cap, thumb dial, lens face, hot shoe insert, aperture ring and many more, which can all be dyed according to the tastes of the customer. There’s a selection of 21 different, particular colors and 25 pearlized shades.

The X2 plastic coating, proprietary to ColorWare, will be protecting the beautiful combinations of tones as a final touch for these gorgeous gadgets. It can be garnished with either glossy or matte finish. Each package, camera plus custom design, will set you back $1,200, available for purchase through the online store of ColorWare.
