Fortunately, the Luxatic crew doesn’t consist of devoted booze fans, but that doesn’t mean we wouldn’t enjoy tippling exquisite liquors, such as the most expensive blend of rum, conceived by Angostura, one of the most renowned rum brewers in the Caribbean.

They’re offering 20 limited edition 500 ml flacons of their most exquisite blends of rum. The Legacy by Angostura was fully hand-produced in Trinidad through a painstaking process that lasted for more than 6 years. It was brewed using a seven column continuous still, chill filtered and then aged in a 200 liter America oak cask.

The liquor was presented by the rum master distiller of Angostura, John Georges, The individual has recently hosted a private tastings in Australia. The main purpose of the drink was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Trinidad and Tobago. It will reportedly be available in August, in the aforementioned countries.

The exquisite Legacy bears influence from seven rare, high priced rums, among its recipe, the youngest of the pack being a whopping 17 years old. Angostura have successfully managed to blend the best rum money can buy, an unequalled experience of delight.

Each bottle of rum is expected to cost around $25,000, a value the rum is entirely worth of. It’s not just about its taste, its more about the effort that was put into the process of blending, the time passed until it reached its final, state of the art quality.

In addition, the art-deco decanter it comes in was actually crafted from lead-free crystal and was hand-blown by the renowned Asprey London, jeweler to the Prince of Wales. Tradition has also been featured on the bottle in the form of a Trinidadian butterfly crafted from sterling silver, which stands for a starter for the beginning of the harvest, when the lepidopteron symbolically lands on the sugar cane.
