Appropriately dubbed ‘Back to the Future’, this custom motorcycle tries to offer us a glimpse of what’s to come from Lazareth, the French maker of sleek, high performance custom bikes. Ludovic Lazareth, the brilliant man behind this design firm, is the one responsible for this futuristic Yamaha YZF R1, hailing from way back in 199 and showing off a fresh café racer attitude.

Some of you might feel this bike looks a bit familiar, and that’s because Lazareth designed this particular project for the 2008 Vin Diesel film ‘Babylon A.D’. But right now it received several updates, and we’re more than overwhelmed by the return of this movie star.

Lazareth went all out with this bike, breaking some of the conventional rules of motorcycle making on their way to transform this road bike into a futuristic marvel. Clad completely in carbon fiber, this custom Yamaha features a reflective carbon fiber fuel tank, fitted all around the original Yamaha YZF R1 frame.

Riding on Triumph ‘955 IN’ 17″ wheels, the bike also shows off TFX suspension absorbers, high-quality Brembo brakes, as well as an upgraded floating-link suspension-system. The single pipe exhaust is a nice touch, while everything else comes with a carbon fiber touch too. You’d be crazy not to want this!
