Here are the first images of the Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario limited edition hypercar, the latest official project of the Italian supercar maker. As its name states, this limited edition celebrates that brand’s 50th anniversary.
Don’t get us wrong, it’s not an official launch – these are the first images to have leaked to the Internet. The car is set to debut on the occasion of the Shanghai Motor Show, being distinctively garnished with an aerodynamic body kit with front splitter and ventilated rear fascia, alongside pretty large diffusers.
The interior of the car follows the same yellow theme of the exterior, with limited modifications – two-tone leather upholstery, carbon fiber trim and a few additional bits and parts. The muscle behind this Lambo will probably source from a 6.5-liter V12 engine delivering 720 HP (529 kW) – this shows a boost of 20 HP (15 kW) compared to the stock version. The LP720-4 50 Anniversario will be able to make it to 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in just about 2.9 seconds and on to a top speed of more than 217 mph (350 km/h).
The limited edition will include a number of 100 units but there’s no word on the price tags.
