Kona Village Resort in Hawaii is close to perfection
Guests will stay in Polynesian-inspired bungalows with no television, telephones, radios or even air conditioners to distract and could enjoy the traditional luau and a variety of activities from snorkeling and tennis, to lei-making, star gazing and even fishing the traditional way with bamboo poles.
An Outrigger Canoe Program in which guests learn to paddle a canoe, a Wiwo’ole Ribcraft Adventure are just two of the water based activities from the resort. Guests could also try sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, scuba diving and even learn and get certified in scuba diving straight from the resort.
Guests of the resort also have access to the private 18-hole Hualalai Golf Course and to a wellness program which offers yoga, tai chi and pilates classes. There’s also a full service spa featuring a large variety of island inspired therapeutic treatments from massages to full body treatments.
