The 1957 Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti you see here is a wonderful piece of automotive history, expected to fetch over $30 million at an auction next month. A classic example of Italian motorsport design, the beautiful Ferrari 335 S has actually won the Constructors’ World Championship Title back in 1957, the Cuba Grand Prix in 1958 and placed second in the renowned Mille Miglia race in 1957.

This incredible car was the best ride in the world during the late 50s, and many famous names have driven this amazing machine, like Peter Collins, Maurice Trintignant, Wolfgang von Trips, Mike Hawthorn, Luigi Musso, Stirling Moss and Masten Gregory, just to name a few.

Car collector Pierre Bardinon has owned this superb piece since 1970 and he restored it to its original configuration back in 1981. We’re not sure why he’s selling it, but this 1957 Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti might actually break some records in terms of selling price-tag.

No one can deny that having this Ferrari as part of a collection is a wonderful, wonderful dream.
