Breitling Navitimer Rattrapante

The newest version of Breitling’s iconic Navitimer watch, Rattrapante, has arrived at Baselworld 2017 showing off a refined look and a new in-house caliber called B03 powering everything up. This impressive automatic split-second chronograph movement operates at 4Hz (28,800bph) and comes with a power reserve of 70 hours, but it’s probably the elegant vibe of this watch that really gets you, right?

To launch the new caliber B03, Breitling went for a 45 mm Navitimer watch with a classy brown dial atop a steel or 18ct red gold case. Customers will be able to choose between padded brown crocodile leather straps, matching the dial of this beauty, or the regular leather or rubber straps, for those of you who want to keep it simple.

The renowned Swiss watchmaker has also announced that the rattrapante mechanism module, hidden inside this exquisite timepiece, is produced using a highly efficient 28-part design, that was meant to be totally removed and replaced if the situation calls for it.

In other words, the Breitling Navitimer Rattrapante boasts the signature Navitimer design and elegance, but it’s full with interesting surprises. This new watch will be available in steel, and also in a limited edition of 250 pieces in 18ct red gold. Expect to pay between $11,090 and $32,895 to own one of these.
