Hublot King Power UEFA Euro 2012 Ukraine and Poland

It has already been established that the official watch partner of the UEFA EURO 2012 championship is Hublot, thus they’re unveiling the two official UEFA EURO 2012 watches.

The two King Power UEFA EURO 2012 watches were unveiled on the occasion of a press conference in Kiev, where personalities like Sergey Bubka (men’s world pole vaulting record holder, President of the National Ukrainian Olympic Committee and member of the IOC – the most important sport legend from Ukraine), Markiyan Lubkivskyi (Tournament Director in Ukraine), Martin Kallen (Director of Operations at UEFA Events S.A) and Jean-Claude Biver (Chairman of Hublot) met local and international journalists.

Regarding the watches, we know that one is made from 18-carat King Gold and ceramic, mainly featuring the blue from present on the Ukrainian flag, while the other is made from ceramic and titanium, boasting the red on Poland’s flag. The chronographs measure 48 mm in diameter and sport sleek lines, encompassing a 45-minute counter at the 9 o’clock position – exactly the duration of a football match’s half.

The watch’s sapphire crystal case-back hosts the UEFA logo, within a graphic representation of a ball, with influences from the official UEFA logo. The movement is represented by a HUB4245 skeleton chronograph, with self-winding mechanical movement. Overall, each one of the watches sports 249 parts, 28 of them being jewels. The strap is made of black rubber, decorated with either blue or red.

It looks like Hublot are going on with their tradition to support football, being the first luxury band to invest in this sport in 2006. They’re sharing important relations with Bayern Munich, Ajax Amsterdam and Manchester United, being their official timekeeper.
