It is known that the World Travel Awards have given the World’s Leading Luxury Hotel Brand title to Jumeirah Hotels, Resorts & Residences, which have just opened a brand new hotel, the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The hotel was built under the patronage and surveillance of His Highness Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan’s Projects Department, being the first Jumeirah Hotel to be opened in the United Arab Emirates’ Abu Dhabi.

Work on the project started during January 2006 as part of the 5 towers forming the Abu Dhabi beachfront project.  The Etihad Towers also includes three towers comprising 885 penthouses and a tower meant for offices from renowned corporations.

Measuring 280 meters, the hotel have been designed by the Architects DBI Australia. The hotel comprises 382 suites and rooms, 199 serviced residences, state-of-the-art conference and meeting halls, meeting spots for social events and exciting leisure activities. There will also be 30 top-class boutiques and world-class restaurants on the connecting four-level podium.

The 40 – 60 square meter rooms are integrated with all the amenities a gentleman or lady need plus breathtaking views over the ocean. Crowning the construction of this marvel, the largest suite of them all, and by far the most luxurious, lies at the 60th floor and measures 980 square meters or 10,550 sq ft. It features butler facilities, dining facilities, four bedrooms, sitting rooms and a high amount of furniture pieces that can be described by the word “luxury” – a good example is the custom-designed grand piano.

There is another high-end suite, on floor 59, comprising an expansive bedroom with a comfortable king-sized bed, sun-lit bathroom with a stand-alone bathtub, twin vanities and a walk-in raindrop ceiling shower, walk-in dressing room and table, as well as a vast sitting room with private dining table that can accommodate 10 guests, plush couches and superb modern-day art pieces.

The fully-serviced residences situated on levels 2-25 can vary between smaller 57 sq meter studios, up to multi-bedroom penthouses that may cover 170 square meters. The design of the interior is taken to extremely high standards; even the reception is extremely luxurious, showing three big E’-s: exclusivity, excellence and elegance.
