Hennessey has recently released the full specs for their new Venom F5. Its name comes from the Fujita scale using to rate tornado intensity, where the F5 is the most intense and destructive.

According to this information, the car can accelerate from 0 to 200 mph in less than 14.51 seconds and from 0 to 186 mph in less than 13.63 seconds, and eventually reach an astounding top speed of 290 mph. The vehicle can achieve this feat thanks to a massive 7.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine which outputs more than 1,400 hp. The fact that the car is very light, tipping the scales at 2,800 lbs. thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber and aluminum, also helps increase performance.

More aerodynamic than the Venom GT, the F5 has a drag coefficient of less than 0.40 and creates downforce using its upper body shape, its underbody venturis, its rear diffuser beneath, and its retractable rear wing.

The Hennessey Venom F5 comes with a single clutch paddle-shift gearbox, but will also be available with a standard H-pattern manual transmission.

Hennessey plans to create 30 of these awesome supercars, with deliveries starting in 2016. Each of these vehicles will be priced at about $1.2 million.
