Brand symbol of exclusivity and opulence, Gold & Co. London, has recently come up with a brand new way to display effulgence – it’s the Sony Xperia Z, an Android smartphone dressed up in gold and glitter.

In fact, the shining, yellowish material it has been covered in is 24-carat gold, a substance that requires exquisite manufacture and careful handling. The gadget was officially released in Dubai, at the Collector’s Palace, in the Dubai Mall.

Of course, such an exquisite piece of engineering would have had to be unveiled in the largest mall in the world, so it was.

Moreover, the guys at Gold & Co. had packaged the 24-carat gold phone in a fantastically nice wooden box, as sophisticated as the smartphone itself. And, predictably, each of the gadgets was individually numbered and authentically certified.

In terms of availability, the 24-carat Gold Sony Xperia Z can reportedly be purchased from certified Gold & Co. outlets worldwide, like the G&C London office in Hong Kong and Evolve Lifestyle Group India, for $3,295 per package.
