The first Rocket production model has just been showcased by Galpin Auto Sports during the recently concluded Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.

Based on the Ford Mustang GT, the vehicle features an aggressive carbon fiber body designed by none other than Henrik Fisker (in fact, this is the second time Galpin and Fisker have teamed up recently, with the other collaboration yielding the amazing Vanquish-based Thunderbolt concept we’ve just showcased). There’s also a new front fascia with a carbon fiber front splitter and a hexagonal grille. Other features include a ram air hood, sculptured fenders, carbon fiber side skirts, a carbon fiber rear diffuser, and an integrated trunk spoiler. Sitting on 21-inch ADV.1 wheels with Pirelli P-Zero tires, it also boasts an adjustable suspension and Brembo brakes.

Few details have been revealed regarding the car’s performance figures, but what has been confirmed is the fact that the Rocket is equipped with a supercharged V8 engine outputting 725 bhp (540 kW). No words on the pricing or availability of Galpin’s new model as of yet, either.
