Using the movement of four drums to show the exact time, the 2LMX timepiece features a particularly new style of watch, with a totally innovative design. It’s created by the former head of the Geneva Patek Philippe museum, Arnaud Tellier. Its autonomy is way above the one of the average watches – around 120 hours, through manual winding.

The watch comes made of white and pink gold, titanium and platinum, with measurements of 41mm width and 50mm height. Though the timepiece only displays a 24-hour time, the truly surprising fact about it is that it comes in a sapphire-crystal face that allows everyone to see the revolving mechanisms and tourbillion inside it.

The “drum with drum” principle allows a greater usage of the space inside the watch, permitting a 10-digit display. For a better grip, it comes with customer’s-choice leather or rubber, in black and white. Its launch is supposed to be taking place in 2012. Put some money aside until then.
