One of the most famous digital cameras manufacturers in the world, Fujifilm, have recently unveiled their latest creation – an addition to their X-Series range, the X-E1 camera. One of the most innovative features of this interchangeable lens camera is the way the manufacturer has combined an elegant style, with a relatively decent size, superb design and fast auto-speed.

It simply begs style conscious consumers and street photographers to acquire one. As for the technology it boasts with, worth stating is the 16 megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor, the same mounted on Fujifilm’s X-Pro1. It also comes with the class leading extra high resolution OLED electronic viewfinder with built-in flash.

It bears compatibility with all three Fujinon XF lenses and also with the next ones to come. They are practically the apex of Fujifilm in terms of optical design technology, boasting with top notch, entirely-glass manufacture with aspheric lens elements.

It also seems like user friendliness was a top priority for Fujifilm when they’ve designed this camera, as it boasts with the possibility of being controllable under the most stressful situations, without the need of the users taking their eyes off the viewfinder. The images it delivers are free of distortion, clear and bright, fully detailed as far as the 4 corners.

The mastermind behind all these is the X-Trans CMOS sensor, which drastically improves color reproduction even in conditions with extremely low light. The X-Trans CMOS sensor pairs with the EXR Processor Pro, able to produce top quality photographs in rapid succession.

The front and top covers of the X-E1 have been crafted from lightweight die-cast magnesium alloy, while the lens ring and the mode dials boast with a textured, milled finish, for easy and smooth tuning. It is available in two different versions, solid black and a dual design with silver and black tones, ready to the pave the way of aspirant photographers.

The camera’s Full HD movie recording capabilities are not something to ignore either.
