We have focused on Bali’s magnificence and beauty before, so we thought it would be perfect to feature another superb resort, one that can be found among the lush highlands surrounding the village of Ubud. Nestled along the Ayung River, the Fivelements Puri Ahimsa is a staggering resort, focusing on greenness, ultimate levels of luxury and beauty.

The resort was reportedly inspired from the Balinese way of living, in complete harmony with the spirit of Mother Earth. The Fivelements brings together guests and the natural environment they live within, their spiritual being, their emotions and the physical existence.

Focusing on rejuvenation and healing, the resort actively collaborates with each and every one of its guests, therefore being able to provide exactly what they desire. The Fivelements is deeply tied to the local traditions of Bali, with a tri-stage wellness program – traditional Balinese healing treatments and ceremonies from traditional Balinese massage to treatments that restore your energy.

Stating that we all live equally in two worlds – the psychic, or unseen world, Niskala, and the world we can touch and see, the conscious world, Sekala – the Balinese principle of Sekala-Niskala is a focusing point of Fivelements. This way, the healers, which originate from Bali, work nicely to bring down divinity onto the massage table.

As for the foods you can taste here, they mostly focus on raw vegetation. Raw living foods actively support natural cleaning, eliminating toxins and cleansing both or physical and psychic sides. This is the only way we can ever reach mental clarity, great energy and the most potential.

In addition, Fivelements also provides programs, based on sacred arts, allowing guests to reconnect with their inner selves, opening their mind and body and providing joy, freedom and mental pleasure. Guests can practice yoga, Qi Gong, meditation, expressive arts or even dance.

We’re now going to head towards the accommodative side of the Fivelements – the luxury resort provides seven distinct bedrooms in separate standalone pavilions, providing privacy, customized services and exclusivity. There’s a private open veranda inside every suite, pointed towards the swirling currents of the Ayung River, alongside a private bamboo secluded spot which houses a lavish open-air bathtub carved in a stone boulder.

Chakra hasn’t been forgotten as well, as the custom lighting displays its seven colours – bringing guests’ spiritual, physical and mental existences closer to Mother Nature. Last, but not the least, in excess of 70% of the resort is crafted from bamboo. In addition, the green side of Fivelements is enhanced by the 100% presence of LEDs in the lighting system alongside woods and water recycling.
