As one of the world’s best fashion brands, Gucci is certainly associated with every elegant and beautiful. Recently, the Italian company has also moved into the cosmetics business, for the first time releasing an extensive collection comprising everything from lipsticks, to mascaras, to eye shadow – about 200 pieces in all.

According to creative director Frida Giannini, the eyes, the skin, and the lips can be seen as accessories, all contributing to the stylish modern woman’s special look. With this in mind, Gucci has sought to provide that woman with the perfect tools to enhance her beauty, drawing from its decades of experience with everything glamorous. The products are based on the brand’s fabrics and leathers, while the color palette includes gold, black, red, ottanio, bronze and copper. In order to ensure the best possible line of products is created, Frida Giannini collaborated with artistic director and world-renowned makeup artist Pat McGrath.

Gucci Cosmetics was launched at the brand’s flagship store at Via Montenapoleone, in Milan on September 17. The collection will be available at Gucci New York Fifth Avenue, Gucci Los Angeles Rodeo Drive, Gucci Las Vegas Crystals City Center, Gucci Dallas Northpark, Gucci.com, Saks Fifth Avenue New York, Neiman Marcus Las Vegas, Saks.com and NeimanMarcus.com in October 2014.
